چکیده

Abstract Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) and testosterone (T) both play distinct roles in the early stages of folliculogenesis. However, relationship between serum T AMH levels is poorly understood. This study aimed to investigate association infertile women. A total 1935 women aged 20–46 years were included cross-sectional divided into four quartile groups (Q1 Q4) based on levels. Compared subjects highest (Q4), those lowest (Q1) showed significantly lower After adjustment for age, body weight, mass index FSH, increasing categories associated with higher Binary logistic regression analyses revealed that odds risk diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) 11.44-fold Q1 than Q4 excess (EOR) 10.41-fold Q1. Our data show are positively suggest androgen insufficiency may be a potential factor DOR; lead EOR

Age-Specific Serum Anti-Mullerian Hormone and Follicle Stimulating Hormone Concentrations in Infertile Iranian Women

Background Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is secreted by the granulosa cells of growing follicles during the primary to large antral follicle stages. Abnormal levels of AMH and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) may indicate a woman’s diminished ability or inability to conceive. Relationship between Serum Levels of Anti-Mullerian Hormone, Adiponectin and Oxidative Stress Markers in Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age. Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) is a valid indicator of ovarian function and is used for PCOS diagnosis. Some studies have shown that adipokines affect the synthesis of AMH, and therefore they are somehow related in function. The aim of the present study was to determine the relationshi...
